Wir entwickeln Produkte und Dienstleitungen, die zur Zukunftsfähigkeit und zum sozialen Ausgleich beitragen. Die gemeinnützige Social Impact GmbH wurde 1994 unter dem Namen iq consult gegründet. Seither waren wir maßgeblich beteiligt an der Konzeption und Umsetzung innovativer Qualifizierungen und Gründungsunterstützungen für sozial benachteiligte Personengruppen.
Wir sind Experten für Gründungsberatung. Mehrere Tausend Unternehmen wurden bereits mit unserer Unterstützung gegründet. Unser Team besteht aus mehr als 40 MitarbeiterInnen, zudem arbeiten zahlreiche externe BeraterInnen für unser Unternehmen. Seit 2011 konzentrieren wir uns auf die Entwicklung einer Infrastruktur zur Förderung sozialer Innovationen. Im Mittelpunkt steht der Aufbau von Social Impact Labs und die Unterstützung von Social Startups, die mit ihren Ideen gesellschaftliche Herausforderungen unternehmerisch lösen.
The non-profit Social Impact GmbH was founded in 1994 – under the name of iq consult – as an organisation for innovative qualification. Since then we have developed products and services that aim to contribute to ensuring sustainability and social exchange. In this way, Social Impact has played an essential part in the development of social innovations in the subject areas of the qualification and start-up support of socially disadvantaged groups and in the development of German microfinance services. Our performance in innovation by Social Impact GmbH has won multiple awards e.g. from BMAS, BMWi, the Council for Sustainability (Rat für Nachhaltigkeit), the EU and OECD. CEO Norbert Kunz has been honoured as Ashoka Fellow and as 2010 Social Entrepreneur of the Year by the Schwab Foundation.
Since 2011, we have been concentrating on the development of an infrastructure for the support of social innovation. Central to our proposals are the Social Impact Labs and the support of social startups.
