The Singularity Group is a team of tech-driven Philanthropy activists. We have more than 40 members and are based in Forst (Lausitz), near Berlin, northeast Germany. Everybody is welcome to contribute, no matter their background or experience. We have a broad range of tasks available for any passionate volunteer, and put big focus personal growth & learning new skills. ☺️

Our diverse group consists of many individuals with different nationalities​,​ background​,​ languages and gender. Everyone here speaks English and most of our members are around the ages of 18-35 years; but we welcome anyone 18+, including above 35! We care about being efficient and are constantly trying to have the most possible positive impact - many members are inspired by values of Effective Altruism. 💛

I'd describe people here as open minded, calm, honest, caring & wanting to do good in the world. Most of the people living here are either vegan or vegetarian, but we invite anybody interested in such a diet. To promote a healthy lifestyle and reduce animal cruelty, we serve purely whole foods plant-based meals. 🌱

We're a group of activists that raised more than $25 million for maternal​,​ newborn​,​ child survival​,​ and emergency programs for a charity Save the Children, via livestreaming and online events on Twitch & YouTube. We are currently contributing to software projects like Mobile MiniGames,​ a top-grossing Play To Earn mobile game with philanthropic goals. All profits are being used for charitable projects, aiming to trial universal basic income projects via the international NGO Giving Works. 💬
